How do you scale a new Google Ads account without budget limitations?

Would you scale Cautiously or go Aggressive?

How do you scale a new Google Ads account without budget limitations?

💚 The Cautious Way:

- Launch search and shopping campaigns

- Use narrow targeting (e.g. longtail keywords)

- Keep the budgets low

- Use manual bids for better control

- Double down on converting keywords and ads

- Hold off the YT ads even if you have great video ads

- Hold off PMax even if you have great creatives

- Rule out Demand Gen completely

- Keep optimized targeting turned off

- Focus on getting conversions first and then worry about spending the budget.

❤️ The Aggressive Way:

- Launch with a full-fledged campaign mix

- Test PMax, YT Ads, and Demand Gen early on

- Start with a mix of narrow and broader audiences

- Test PMax Feed Only, Full Build, Asset Only together

- Run Standard Shopping alongside as well

- Test DSA if pages return good keywords

- Test Broadomation (broad match + tCPA/tROAS)

- Turn on optimized targeting on converters, customer lists, etc.

- Focus on spending the budget first and then worry about conversions.

Which of these approaches would you use? Or do you have a hybrid version? Let me know in the comments.
